What this image lookup tool does

When you upload a picture, we forward it to Google Lens, which scans the web for visually similar images, known sources, and related objects, places, and text. You see the results in a clean, mobile-friendly interface — and we don't keep a copy of your photo when the search is done.

How it works

2. We send it to a temporary anonymous image host so Google Lens can fetch it.
3. We open Google Lens with your image, where you'll see matching and similar images, plus related web results.

There's no account, no database, and no stored history. The tool runs entirely in your browser after the initial page load.
